Work It Girrrrrl!

That's me in case you're wondering.... at least that's what I think I look like when I try to work out! :) No really, I'm pretty sure I look like that.

Day 2 of my challenge was a good one. It was the hubby's day off so he let me have the 1 thing I always want and very rarely get...... SLEEP! He let me sleep till NOON! So..... I basically feel like a million bucks. I did, however, miss my morning Grapefruit Essential Oil, Ningxia Red routine. So guess what... I did it at noon. Life happens.. even on Day 2. I've felt like after taking the Grapefruit Essential Oil both days, that I have more energy, my mood shifts, and I am NOTICEABLY less hungry. I've been making sure I get enough calories each day though, made up of good foods. I've had Pea Protein shakes with mixed greens, strawberries and mangos. I've had baked chicken, hummus & blue corn chips, pretzels, apples, turkey lunch meat, sushi, and LOTS of water. So far so good :) But what I want to share today is the fun stuff!........ WORKIN OUT!

You Betta Work Work

Most of my community of friends and family who would be reading this are BUSY people. There's never enough hours in a day to make their way to the gym for an hour. I think if most of us had to pick between a work out and relaxing, we choose relaxing. I say we, because that's TOTALLY me too. So finding out that Youtube is FILLED with free workouts, yoga trainers, dance classes etc was a wow moment. My Youtube fitness fun started about a year ago with my roommate and husband. We had "Family Yoga Night" multiple times a week and it was a blast! Now I've discovered a whole other side to work outs so in this post, I'll be giving you a short list of my favorite FREE Youtube fitness videos and channels.

YOGA

When the hubs, the roommate and I started working on our health and incorporating Youtube last year, I found a Yogi named Adrienne........ and I can't quit her! I heart Adrienne! She's goofy, understanding of everyone's levels and needs, and has a yoga video for EV-REEE-THING. You had a bad day and you're pissed? She's got a yoga session for that. You only have 10 minutes? Got it. Is your lower back hurting? Session for that. Target areas? You know it! She's incredible! Browse her video categories and descriptions... good luck just picking ONE! Check her out at least for 1 session and see how you like it. I bet you'll fall in love with her too! If you're feeling extra motivated to make some fitness moves, join her 30 Day Yoga Challenge. She's got a playlist of 30 videos you'll go through. It's SO GOOD! She is the ONLY one I go to for yoga time!

CARDIO

I've just recently started exploring the world of cardio and fitness videos on Youtube, and good Lawd, was I missing out! I have always despised "work outs", but I love dancing. Through high school and the years after, I used to use music videos as my work outs. I'd stop and rewind again and again until I learned the whole dance to my favorite songs. It was fun and challenging, and I'd be so sore the next day. Doing my own version of dance work outs plus a treadmill 5 years ago, actually put me in the best shape of my life. So when I decided about a month ago that I was ready for an addition to yoga, I went in search of something I could really get with... dancing!

I add to it from time to time, but what I've got thus far is the business! You'll thank me for the Brutal Booty work out later, and without a doubt you'll be thanking me for....... THE FITNESS MARSHALL!!! If you want to get down to some of your favorite R & B and Hip Hop songs with a hilarious energizer bunny boy, this is your guy! His moves... oh his moves!
